Sheet Metal Fabrication —- Metal Bending

Bending is one of the most common sheet metal processing operations. Also called press bending, hemming, mold bending, folding and edging, this method is used to deform the material into an angular shape.

This is done by applying force on the workpiece. The force must exceed the yield strength of the material to achieve plastic deformation. Only in this way can you achieve lasting results in a curved form.

What our engineers showed us is the more commonly used bending process-mechanical bending.
Due to the design of this bending machine, it is not a suitable choice for bending air. The two main advantages of mechanical bending machines are speed and accuracy.
