Test pieces were then case hardened to surface hardness 58 – 65 HRC and hard part turned using PCBN inserts at different cutting speeds. The investigation looked at the wear mechanisms of the insert edges, the surface finish achieved and also the chip formation.
Axis travels of the VC-500A/5X accommodate part sizes up to 19.88″ (505 mm) in diameter and 12″ (305 mm) in height. Rapid traverse speeds for these three linear axes are 1,181 ipm (30 m/min). The VC-500Z/5X is equipped with a high-performance 12,000-rpm CAT-40 spindle for machining all common materials, including steel, aluminum, and cast iron. Optional spindle speeds of 15,000 rpm and 20,000 rpm are available.

Most synthetic supplements are chemically identical to natural supplements.” In response to our request for supporting evidence, First Media directed us to another questionable 2015 video, which can be viewed here. That video also showed a tray of supplements — both capsules and tablets — baked in an oven. Those that burned or melted were identified as synthetic, those that did not were identified as natural. When asked by us, First Media refused to identify the supplements shown in their own video, and refused to say where and how they had obtained them.
