Titanium is a hard metal, but the best steels are usually stronger than titanium alloys. The biggest difference in strength is the extreme temperature and flexibility. Steel can only withstand temperatures up to 2700°F, while titanium can withstand temperatures up to 3300°F. At sub-zero temperatures, steel has no tendency to break with titanium. In terms of flexibility, both metals are quite hard, but titanium has the ability to bend or bend repeatedly under CNC machining conditions.
When bent too much, steel often cracks. The challenge for most people with titanium is that it is incredible in terms of CNC tool wear, feed and speed. When adjusting and adjusting CNC machining, steel provides a larger window for manufacturing high-quality parts, while titanium requires delicate (or even delicate) hands for adjustment to obtain better surface finish or tool wear.
