Trampoline Knowledge


Definition of trampoline: Machine tools with prefabricated holes are mainly machined on the workpiece with a file. Subject: Mechanical Engineering (a subject); cutting process and equipment (two subjects); metal cutting machine tools – various metal cutting machine tools (three subjects)

The trampoline is mainly a machine tool that boring a workpiece with a boring tool. Usually, the boring tool rotates as the main motion, and the boring tool or the workpiece moves into the feed motion. Its processing accuracy and surface quality are higher than the drilling machine. The trampoline is the main equipment for the processing of large box parts.

 

Machining features: During the machining process, the workpiece does not move, let the tool move, the tool center is aligned with the center of the hole, and the tool is rotated (main motion).

 

(1) Horizontal trampoline

 

It is the most widely used one in trampolines. It is mainly hole processing, the pupil precision is up to IT7, and the surface roughness Ra is 1.6-0.8um. The main parameter of the horizontal boring machine is the spindle diameter.

 

(2) Coordinate trampoline

 

A coordinate boring machine is a type of high precision machine tool. Its structural feature is a precision measuring device with coordinate position. The coordinate trampoline can be divided into a single-column coordinate boring machine, a double-column coordinate boring machine and a horizontal coordinate boring machine.

 

Single-column coordinate boring machine: The main shaft drives the tool to rotate the main motion, and the main shaft sleeve moves in the axial direction. Features: Simple structure, easy operation, especially suitable for processing precision holes of plate-shaped parts, but its rigidity is poor, so this structure is only suitable for small and medium-sized coordinate boring machines.

 

Double-column coordinate boring machine: The main shaft is mounted on the main shaft for movement. The workpiece is mounted on the worktable and moves linearly along the table along the guide rail. It has a good rigidity and is currently used in large-scale coordinate boring machines. The main parameter of the two-column coordinate boring machine is the work surface width.

 

Horizontal coordinate boring machine: The table can make a rotary motion in the horizontal plane. The feed motion can be realized by the longitudinal movement of the table or the axial movement of the spindle. Its processing accuracy is high.

 

(3) King Kong trampoline: It is characterized by small feed rate and high cutting speed. Therefore, the processed workpiece has high dimensional accuracy (IT6) and the surface roughness can reach 0.2 micron.
